H-Pro-NH2 - CAS 7531-52-4

An impurity of Vildagliptin. Vildagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that is used as an anti-hyperglycemic agent. Vildagliptin could reduce hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus via the suppressive effect of inactivation of GLP-1 and GIP by DPP-4.
